Job Summary
CT Technologist II for acute care at Forsyth Medical Center performing Computed Tomography imaging with ARRT CT certification required within 6 months of hire. 36 hours/week (evenings) with weekend/holiday rotations and call. Responsibilities include preparing patients, operating CT equipment, interpreting patient needs by age, and maintaining imaging protocols with strong communication and attention to detail. Requires ARRT CT registration (RT(R) or RT(N) or CNMT) by time of hire or within 6 months, plus state licensing as applicable. Prior acute care experience preferred. Location: Winston-Salem, NC.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT certification in CT (RT(R) or RT(N) or CNMT) at time of hire
- State license to practice CT imaging in North Carolina
- Prior acute care experience preferred
- Strong communication and attention to detail
- Analytical ability and basic computer skills
- Ability to interpret patient age-specific requirements and prepare patients for procedures
- Ability to operate CT equipment and adapt procedures as needed
