Job Summary
Operate head or body x-ray scanners to produce cross-sectional images of human anatomy for radiologists. Perform routine and special CT exams adhering to established protocols to minimize radiation dose and maintain productivity. Complete all exams and documentation in Computerized Health Information and PACS systems, accurately identifying charges and addressing errors. Educate and prepare patients for examinations to enhance cooperation and promote a positive patient experience. Demonstrate commitment to safe practices, Just Culture, and ALARA principles to eliminate errors. This weekend option role requires working two shifts within the WEO window for a premium rate and accepts students or licensed technologists with ARRT, NMTCB, or BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of a Radiology, Imaging or related educational program
- ARRT: RT(R)(CT), RT(N)(CT)
- NMTCB: CNMT, NMTCB(CT)
- Combination of ARRT RT(N) and NMTCB(CT) or CNMT and ARRT(CT)
- Combination of ARRT RT(R) and NMTCB(CT) or ARRT RT(T) and NMTCB(CT)
- BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
- Commit to WEO requirements and work two shifts within the WEO window for a premium rate
