Job Summary
Operate CT equipment and processing systems to produce high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and adherence to established protocols. Prepare and position patients for procedures, administer contrast media, and monitor for adverse reactions. Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to deliver accurate, timely results, and assist with interventional CT procedures including sterile field setup. Review images for technical accuracy, document clinical history, and perform regular quality control checks on equipment. Respond to emergency situations and maintain a clean, organized work area. Licensed Radiologic Technologist with CT certification required; 2-4 years of acute care experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of clinical experience acquired through an accredited radiologic sciences program
- Licensed Radiologic Technologist as applicable by state
- CT - Computed Tomography certification or eligibility to obtain within six (6) months of hire
- BCLS - Basic Life Support within 90 days of hire
Desired Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience as a CT Technologist in an acute care hospital setting
- (R) ARDMS or ARRT - Radiographer
