Job Summary
Operates Computed Tomography scanning equipment to produce images used to aid in diagnosis of disease and injuries. Confers with patient, explains procedures, and elicits cooperation. Positions patient properly, determines correct protocol according to exam order and diagnosis, and properly uses power injector for contrast injection. Must be proficient in performing body, MSK, Neuro and Cardiac CT scans as well as radiography and C-arm procedures utilizing ALARA principles. Must be registered in Computed Tomography and Radiography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Includes working at the Mountain Clinic in Crested Butte and the hospital with a rotating schedule, one night of call on Fridays, and seasonal variations; relocation and sign-on bonuses offered. Job Type: Full-time; Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour; Benefits include 401(k), health, dental, vision, PTO, and more. License/Certification: Radiology Certification (Preferred). Ability to relocate to Gunnison, CO 81230 (Required). Work Location: In person.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Graduate from an accredited radiology program
- Experience: Minimum of two years as a Technologist
- Licenses/Certification: ARRT Registry in Radiology and CT (R, CT) or registry eligible
- Ability to relocate to Gunnison, CO 81230
- Proficiency with CT and radiography procedures; knowledge of ALARA principles
