Job Summary
The CT Technologist performs diagnostic CT procedures on assigned patients, ensuring effective use of CT scanners to provide quality images for diagnosis. Responsibilities include producing acceptable imaging by determining proper technical factors, assisting in CT guided interventional procedures, and preparing contrast media under physician supervision. The role requires strong skills in communication, decision-making, and conflict resolution, while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality in a patient-centered environment.
Required Qualifications
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in radiography
- Licensed by the State of Ohio in Radiology
- Minimum of one year experience as a licensed Radiology Technologist
- Must obtain ARRT CT registry within 2 years of hire date
- Maintains the highest level of professionalism and confidentiality
- CPR Certified
