CT Technologist - General Duty

Job Summary
CT Technologist - General Duty provides radiology support by performing CT scans under supervision, assists radiologists and physicians, and participates in student teaching. Requires CAMRT certification, completion of CAMRT CTIC Course, and ability to initiate IVs. Responsibilities include a range of CT procedures, collaboration in an inter-disciplinary environment, and maintaining professional judgment, communication, and organizational skills. The role includes in-person duties with standby coverage and adherence to safety standards, with opportunities to contribute to orientation of technologists and ongoing education for students/residents.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Medical Imaging Technology
- Successful completion of the CAMRT certification exam (CAMRT)
- Successful completion of CAMRT CTIC Course
- Ability to start and establish IVs (or commit to acquiring this skill through training)
- Current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment
- Must be in good standing with CAMRT-MB
- Demonstrated competence in CT procedures requiring independent judgment
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to interact with diverse personnel in an inter-disciplinary environment
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment and prioritize workload
- Independent, self-directed professional
- Problem-solving and critical analysis skills
