Job Summary
Operate computed tomography equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic interpretation. Perform general radiography and fluoroscopy, assess and plan care for patients from adolescence through geriatric, and generate sagittal and coronal reformatted images. Utilize PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images, maintain accurate billing and medical records while adhering to HIPAA guidelines, and perform routine equipment maintenance and supply inventory management. This full-time variable shift role at Adventist Health Columbia Gorge in The Dalles, Oregon, supports a 49-bed hospital and surrounding medical services.
Required Qualifications
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT)
- Advanced Certification in the modality of CT
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT)
- All required vaccinations
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology
- Fluoroscopy license in state of employment
- Venipuncture certification
