Job Summary
Operate computed tomography, general radiography, and fluoroscopy equipment to produce diagnostic images of bones, organs, and tissue. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients from adolescence through geriatric while producing sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation. Use PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images and maintain accurate records, billing information, and patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA. Perform routine equipment maintenance, calibration, and supply inventory management. Requires an Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology, ARRT-CT certification, and BLS. Full-time variable shift employment with vaccination requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT)
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology
- Advanced Certification in the modality of CT
- Fluoroscopy license in state of employment
- Venipuncture certification
