Job Summary
Operate computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic interpretation, while performing general radiography and fluoroscopy. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients ranging from adolescence through geriatric, producing sagittal and coronal reformatted images. Use PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images correctly, maintain accurate records and billing information, and ensure HIPAA compliance. Perform routine maintenance, calibration of equipment, and manage supply inventory. Requires ARRT certification with CT specialty, BLS, and Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology. Full-time variable shift position at Adventist Health Columbia Gorge in The Dalles, Oregon.
Required Qualifications
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT)
- Advanced Certification in the modality of CT
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Fluoroscopy license in state of employment
- Venipuncture certification
- ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT)
- Receive all required vaccinations as a condition of employment
