Job Summary
Operate computed tomography equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic interpretation. Perform general radiography and fluoroscopy, assess and plan care for patients from adolescence through geriatric, and generate sagittal and coronal reformatted images. Use PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images, maintain accurate billing records, and ensure HIPAA compliance. Conduct routine equipment maintenance, calibration, and supply inventory management. Requires an Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology, ARRT-CT certification, and BLS. Full-time variable shift position with on-call rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT)
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology
- Advanced Certification in the modality of CT
- Fluoroscopy license in state of employment
- Venipuncture certification
