CT Technologist (Full-Time/Swing Shift)

Job Summary
Perform CT and X-ray imaging procedures across a small-format hospital setting, operating imaging department equipment (X-Ray, CT, CR reader, PACS) and maintaining documentation. Ensure procedures comply with established policies, notify physicians as needed, perform basic clinical procedures under physician/nurse direction, maintain logs and records, collect laboratory samples and conduct lab testing per COLA/CLIA, and perform routine maintenance and quality control/assessment activities. Role includes ER technician duties as needed, and travel to all facility locations. Travel and QA activities are documented for periodic review; maintain reagents and consumables, and participate in staff meetings. Requires AMA-approved Radiology Tech education, ARRT radiography registration, BLS, and CT certification within 12 months of hire; 2+ years radiologic/imaging experience and CT experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiology Technology
- Certified as a medical radiologic technologist as required by the state in which practicing
- Registered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in radiography
- ARRT radiography registration
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association
- CT certification required within 12 months of hire (Pennsylvania market)
- Proficiency with most X-ray/CT equipment and PACS
- Fluency in English, written and oral communication
