CT Technologist - Full Time Evenings

Job Summary
Conduct computed tomography procedures to produce sectional and three-dimensional images for diagnostic and interventional use. Acquire data, reformat images, and assess patients while monitoring for emergency situations and maintaining quality care. Ensure equipment and supply availability and sterility, exercising independent professional judgment in all imaging tasks. Maintain radiation safety, competency in radiography components, and IV therapy skills while communicating effectively with licensed healthcare practitioners. Requires ARRT certification with advanced CT registry, two years of staff experience, and BLS. Full-time evening shift at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital with a $15K sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited program in Radiology Technology either hospital based or college degree program
- Advanced training and certification in CT
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), with advanced registry/certification in CT
- If cross-trained or internship in CT, and registry eligible, must have advanced registry/certification in CT within six (6) months of completion of CT training
- BLS required
