Job Summary
Operate computed tomography equipment to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic interpretation, while performing general radiography and fluoroscopy. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients from adolescence through geriatric, producing sagittal and coronal reformatted images. Transfer images via PACS and teleradiology systems, maintain accurate billing records, and ensure HIPAA compliance. Perform routine equipment maintenance, calibration, and supply inventory management. Requires ARRT-CT certification, BLS, and Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology. Full-time evening shift position at Adventist Health Portland's 302-bed medical center.
Required Qualifications
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT)
- Advanced Certification in the modality of CT
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Venipuncture certification
- ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT)
- All required vaccinations
- E-Verify participation
