Job Summary
Operate computed tomography equipment to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic interpretation. Perform general radiography and fluoroscopy, assess patient care plans from adolescence through geriatric, and generate sagittal and coronal reformatted images. Use PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images accurately while maintaining HIPAA-compliant records and billing information. Conduct routine equipment maintenance, calibration, and supply inventory management. Requires ARRT-CT certification, BLS, and Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology. Evening shift position at Adventist Health Portland's 302-bed medical center.
Required Qualifications
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT)
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology
- Advanced Certification in the modality of CT
- Venipuncture certification
