Job Summary
CT Technologist operates CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images for radiologist interpretation, with responsibilities spanning general radiography and fluoroscopy; uses PACS and teleradiology to transfer images, maintains accurate records and patient data in HIPAA-compliant systems, and performs routine equipment maintenance and supply management. Requires ARRT CT certification and BLS, with CT modality certification and preferred associate degree in Radiologic Technology. Evening shift role within a hospital setting.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology (preferred)
- Registered by ARRT: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT)
- ARRT-CT: Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS): Required
- Facility-Specific Licenses/Certifications: BLS per AH policy: Required
- Venipuncture certification: Preferred in CA and OR
