Job Summary
Operates CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images for radiologist interpretation, performs CT plus general radiography and fluoroscopy, uses PACS and teleradiology to transfer images, maintains accurate records and billing information, ensures HIPAA compliance, and conducts routine maintenance and calibration of imaging equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: RT (R)(CT) or RT (R)(ARRT) (ARRT-CT)
- ARRT-CT: Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
- ARRT-CT certification: Required
- Facility Specific License/Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) per policy: Required
