CT Technologist, Full Time, Evening shift

Job Summary
Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images used for diagnosing medical conditions, and performs imaging procedures including general radiography and fluoroscopy. Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation, uses PACS and teleradiology to transfer images, and maintains accurate records and billing information while adhering to HIPAA and confidentiality guidelines. Performs routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and executes other job-related duties as assigned. Requires ARRT CT certification, BLS, and CT-specific credentials; Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred; venipuncture certification preferred in CA/OR.
Required Qualifications
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT)
- Advanced Certification in CT: Required in OR and HI, Preferred in CA
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
- ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT): Required
- Venipuncture certification: Preferred in CA and OR
- Education: Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology: Preferred
- License/Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required per AH policy
- Knowledge of PACS and teleradiology systems
- Ability to produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images
- HIPAA compliance
- Maintenance and calibration of CT equipment
- Billing and record-keeping
- Age range: adolescent through geriatric
- Imaging procedures including CT, general radiography, fluoroscopy
- Vaccination requirement: required for associates
