CT Technologist, Full Time, Evening shift

Job Summary
Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images for radiologist interpretation; performs CT as well as general radiography and fluoroscopy; uses PACS and teleradiology to transfer images, maintains patient records and billing information, ensures HIPAA compliance, and performs routine maintenance of imaging equipment. Age range served includes adolescents through geriatric patients; location involves Gresham, OR with normal healthcare setting duties and evening shift.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology: Preferred
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT): Required
- Advanced Certification in the modality of CT: Required in OR and HI, Preferred in CA
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
- ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT): Required
- Venipuncture certification: Preferred in CA and OR
- Facility Specific License/Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
- Essential Functions: Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation
- Uses PACS and teleradiology system to correctly transfer images to the appropriate location
- Maintains accurate records, files and billing information
- Performs routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manages supply inventory
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
