Job Summary
Operate computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnosing medical conditions, including general radiography and fluoroscopy. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients ranging from adolescence through geriatric. Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation and use PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images correctly. Maintain accurate records, files, and billing information while ensuring data integrity under HIPAA guidelines. Perform routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manage supply inventory. Requires ARRT-Computed Tomography certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Full-time evening shift position at Adventist Health Portland's 302-bed medical center.
Required Qualifications
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT)
