Job Summary
CT Technologist to operate CT equipment and produce cross-sectional images for radiologist interpretation. Performs CT procedures as well as general radiography and fluoroscopy. Maintains accurate records, uses PACS and teleradiology for image transfer, and adheres to HIPAA and patient confidentiality guidelines. Requires active ARRT/CT credentials, BLS certification, and CT-specific certification; associates degree in Radiologic Technology preferred. Works in an evening, full-time capacity at Adventist Health Portland’s East Portland area, with emphasis on quality imaging, patient care across age groups, and routine equipment maintenance and inventory management.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology (preferred)
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: RT(R)(CT) or RT(R)(ARRT)
- ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced CT certification required in OR and HI, preferred in CA
- Venipuncture certification preferred in CA and OR
- Facility-specific BLS certification requirement per AH policy (required)
- ARRT-CT certification required
