Job Summary
Perform CT examinations according to physician orders, utilizing sophisticated CT equipment and adjusting imaging factors to produce optimal images for individual patients. Apply knowledge and judgment regarding imaging technique and patient treatment needs, accounting for special or age-related requirements. Maintain National Provider BLS certification and obtain the Oregon Medical Imaging License upon hire. Complete required CT Technologist certification within one year of employment. Work full-time evening shifts Monday through Friday from 3:30 pm to 12 am at Providence Milwaukie Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- Oregon Medical Imaging License from Oregon State Board upon hire
- National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire
- National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology upon hire
- National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography within 1 year of hire
- National Computed Tomography Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board within 1 year of hire
