CT Technologist - Full Time Days

Job Summary
Conduct computed tomography procedures to produce sectional and three-dimensional images for licensed healthcare practitioners. Acquire data, reformat it into diagnostic images, and assess patients while monitoring for emergency situations. Ensure equipment and supply sterility, exercise independent professional judgment, and maintain high-quality image production. This role requires a graduate of an accredited radiology technology program with advanced CT certification and at least two years of staff technologist experience. The position is full-time days at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital with a $15K sign-on bonus and includes BLS requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited program in Radiology Technology either hospital based or college degree program
- Advanced training and certification in CT
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), with advanced registry/certification in CT
- If cross-trained or internship in CT, and registry eligible, must have advanced registry/certification in CT within six (6) months of completion of CT training
- BLS required
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of two (2) years' experience as a staff technologist
- Experience/certification/internship in CT scan
