Job Summary
Perform CAT scan procedures following radiologist protocols and operate the CT scanner during IR procedures in the CT department. Maintain the work area by reporting maintenance issues, monitoring supplies, and adhering to infection prevention policies with appropriate PPE. Requires 2-year commitment with a $10,000 sign-on bonus ($4,000 at 90 days, $3,000 at 1 year, $3,000 at 2 years). Candidates must hold current BLS, ARRT, and NJ-RADTECH licenses, with ARRT Board Certification in Computed Tomography preferred within 12 months. Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technologist program is required, with CT program enrollment or graduation preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 2 year commitment
- Experience with General, Trauma and ED
- Graduate of AMA Approved Radiologic Technologist Program
- Enrollment in or graduation from a qualified Computed Tomography program
- Current BLS Certification (Basic Life Support)
- Current ARRT License (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
- Current NJ-RADTECH License (Radiologic Technologist)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Pediatrics and Cardiac
- ARRT Board Certified in Computed Tomography
- Enrollment in or graduation from a qualified Computed Tomography program preferred
