CT Technologist - Float Team (Region Three)

Job Summary
Perform CT exams per physician orders, verify patient identity, obtain relevant history, and screen for contraindications; explain procedures clearly using AIDET and communicate with patients/families with empathy and confidence; prepare and position patients; establish IV access; administer contrast media safely and monitor for adverse reactions; operate CT scanners and power injectors; optimize technique to achieve diagnostic image quality while minimizing radiation dose (ALARA); evaluate image quality and escalate findings as needed; complete documentation and maintain QC checks, RIS/PACS, and regulatory compliance; support cross-coverage and everyday operations across multiple facilities within Region Three.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist in a hospital setting
- Minimum 2 years of CT experience in a hospital setting
- ARRT-R (Radiography)
- ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) - American Heart Association
