CT Technologist - Float Team (Region One)

Job Summary
CT Technologist for Region One Float Team: perform CT exams per physician orders and department protocols, verify patient identity and screen for contraindications, communicate clearly with patients using AIDET, prepare and position patients, establish IV access with sterile technique, administer contrast safely and monitor for adverse reactions, operate CT scanners and power injectors, optimize techniques to balance diagnostic image quality with ALARA, evaluate image quality and notify radiologist of urgent findings, document promptly in RIS/PACS, complete QC checks and calibration verification, maintain smooth daily operations, support cross-coverage and on-call duties, and adhere to Joint Commission standards across facilities in Region One (Kennestone Hospital, North Fulton Hospital, Windy Hill).
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist in a hospital setting
- Minimum 2 years of CT experience in a hospital setting
- ARRT-R (Radiography)
- ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) - American Heart Association
