CT Technologist - Float Team (Region Four)

CT Technologist for Region Four Float Team supports a variety of imaging services across Wellstar facilities. As part of the Diagnostic Float Team, you will perform CT exams per physician orders, verify patient identity, obtain histories, administer contrast safely, position and transfer patients, operate CT scanners and power injectors, optimize technique to achieve diagnostic image quality while minimizing radiation dose, review image quality, document and manage RIS/PACS entries, and participate in QC and regulatory standards. The role offers multiple shift options, self-scheduling up to 8 weeks in advance, and eligibility for full-time benefits within the Float Pool, with locations serving Region Four including Columbia County Medical Center and MCG Health Medical Center. Location shown: South Lake Tahoe, CA, US. The position requires ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications and BLS, with at least 2 years of hospital radiography and CT experience, and a completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. The role emphasizes patient communication using AIDET, safety, contrast administration, and collaboration with radiologists/physicians.
