CT Technologist - Family Health Center

Job Summary
As a CT Technologist at the Family Health Center, you will be responsible for producing cross-section images of internal organs and tissues for diagnosis. Key responsibilities include interpreting scanning instructions, administering contrast materials, preparing and operating equipment, and positioning patients for imaging. You will need to acquire and review patient data to ensure proper setup and educate patients about procedures. This role requires a valid registration as a Radiologic Technologist and certification in Computed Tomography within one year of hire. Additionally, strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and effective patient communication are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
- Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists [R.T.(R) (ARRT)] in good standing
- Certification in Computed Tomography [R.T.(R)(CT)(ARRT)] within one year of hire
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and related pathologic processes
Desired Qualifications
- One year of experience as a General Radiologic Technologist
