Job Summary
Administer ionizing radiation to patients for diagnostic, therapeutic procedures, and research using advanced digital imaging systems. Assist radiologists with interventional and biopsy procedures while providing optimal patient care across all age groups. Maintain knowledge of established techniques and effective patient interaction protocols. This permanent overnight rotation includes seven consecutive nights on followed by seven nights off. Candidates must hold current ARRT or NMTCB certification, with additional state licensure required for North Dakota residents. The role supports Essentia Health's dedicated care team in Detroit Lakes, MN.
Required Qualifications
- Must be registered in CT by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) within two years of hire/transfer to the position.
- If North Dakota, must have current license on the North Dakota Medical Imaging & Radiation Therapy Board of Examiners (NDMIRT) upon hire.
- Must be able to interact with patients in a way that is effective and appropriate to the age of the involved patient population.
