Job Summary

Operate CT equipment, power injectors, and medical devices to produce diagnostic scans and invasive procedures while maintaining sterile patient preparation and radiation safety protocols. Provide direct care during procedures, ensure accurate documentation, and assist with patient and family education. Act as a resource for students and junior techs while supporting research activities. Perform complex technical care, plan multiple diagnostic procedures in appropriate sequences, and adapt to varying physical demands including lifting and standing. Work full-time shifts from 3 PM to 11:30 PM.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
  • Registered with the ARRT
  • Minimum of two (2) years experience
  • One (1) year in CT
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification in accordance with the American Heart Association
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs
  • Carrying of objects up to 25 lbs
  • Occasional to frequent standing & walking
  • Occasional sitting
  • Close eye work (computers, typing, reading, writing)
  • Blood-borne pathogen exposure
  • Bio-hazardous waste
  • Chemicals/gases/fumes/vapors
  • Communicable diseases
  • Electrical shock
  • Floor Surfaces
  • Hot/Cold Temperatures
  • Indoor/Outdoor conditions
  • Latex
  • Lighting
