Job Summary
CT Technologist performs CT Scan procedures under direct supervision of the CT Supervisor and general supervision of Imaging Services leadership to assist in diagnosing and treating disease and injuries. The role requires completing an AMA-approved Radiology Technology program, obtaining a Texas radiologic license, maintaining BLS certification, and ARRT Radiography registration. Preferred qualifications include CT technologist certification boards and 1 year radiologic technologist experience. Provides imaging for the Providence Covenant Medical Center in the Emergency Services setting.
Required Qualifications
- Coursework/Training: Satisfactory completion of an AMA approved School of Radiology Technology.
- Upon hire: Texas General Medical Radiologic Technologist License
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
- Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- Preferred Qualifications: Computed Tomography Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board.
- Preferred Qualifications: Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- 1 year experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
