Job Summary
Operate CT equipment, power injectors, and other medical devices to produce scans for diagnostic and invasive procedures while providing quality care to patients receiving diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures. Prepare patients with proper sterile technique, ensure documentation is complete and accurate, and take precautions to minimize patient and staff exposure to x-radiation. Act as a resource for students and junior techs, assist with patient and family education, and support research activities as required. Full-time role with an 8:30 AM to 5 PM schedule covering 40 hours. Candidates must be ARRT-registered with at least two years of experience, including one year in CT, and hold BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
- Registered with the ARRT
- Minimum of two (2) years experience
- One (1) year in CT
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification in accordance with the American Heart Association
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced certification in CT
