Job Summary

Operate CT equipment, power injectors, and other medical devices to produce diagnostic scans for procedures. Provide quality care to patients during diagnostic and interventional radiology, ensuring proper sterile technique and patient preparation. Communicate patient needs through verbal and written correspondence while maintaining complete and accurate documentation. Minimize radiation exposure for both patients and staff, and assist with patient and family education. Support research activities, mentor students and junior techs, and perform other related duties as required. Full-time, 40-hour shift rotating Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 10:30 AM to 9 PM.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
  • Registered with the ARRT
  • Minimum of two (2) years experience
  • One (1) year in CT
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification in accordance with the American Heart Association
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs
  • Carrying of objects up to 25 lbs
  • Occasional to frequent standing & walking
  • Occasional sitting
  • Close eye work (computers, typing, reading, writing)
  • Blood-borne pathogen exposure
  • Bio-hazardous waste
  • Chemicals/gases/fumes/vapors
  • Communicable diseases
  • Electrical shock
  • Floor Surfaces
  • Hot/Cold Temperatures
  • Indoor/Outdoor conditions
  • Latex
  • Lighting
