CT Technologist - Day Shift - Medical Imaging (may be eligible for a $5,000 relocation allowance)

Job Summary
Conduct diagnostic computed tomography (CT) and computed tomography angiography (CTA) scans, including associated post-processing procedures, according to established protocols. Assist physicians during CT-guided interventional procedures while maintaining sterile technique and ensuring patient safety. Operate electronic medical imaging systems such as PACS, RIS, and EMR to archive data and prepare written reports. Maintain diagnostic instruments, perform scheduled preventative maintenance, and ensure imaging rooms are stocked with supplies. Educate patients and families regarding procedures and timeframes, while monitoring documentation accuracy and responding to emergency situations. Provide care appropriate to pediatric through geriatric populations and coordinate daily activities with the radiology team.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of one year experience as a Radiology Technologist
- Previous recent experience as CT Technologist
- Able to complete all CT modality competency forms
- Ability to use computer information systems
- Computer literacy
- Knowledge of word processing
- In compliance with patient safety standards
- Must be able to effectively communicate in English
- ARRT registry as radiologic Technologist (R)
- ARRT (CT) registry
- California x-ray certification (CRT)
- California fluoroscopy certification
- CPR/BLS certification by the American Heart Association (BLS for the Healthcare Provider)

- Ability to competently utilize all electronic medical imaging computer programs to include PACS, RIS, EMR, QC programs, CD burning, and other related programs
- Ability to recognize situations outside of expertise

- Ability to prepare and maintain imaging rooms
- Ability to ensure availability of supplies

- Ability to work day shifts from Friday to Monday
