Job Summary
Conduct CT exams, vascular studies, and sterile procedures while following radiologist protocols and ALARA principles. Provide compassionate patient interaction, administer contrast per policy, and ensure accurate documentation and image transfer via RadNet/PACS. Manage patient flow, maintain exam room cleanliness, troubleshoot equipment, and uphold quality control standards. Perform some x-ray exams as required. Prioritize workload independently and adhere to facility policies and professional standards. Maintain required ARRT certification and BLS credentials with biannual renewal. Join a team delivering care in northern Michigan's largest healthcare system.
Required Qualifications
- Must have passed the examination for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiography, Nuclear Medicine, or Radiation Therapy and remain in good standing with ARRT CE requirements or provide Certification from an International Credentialing agency
- One (1) year prior CT experience
- Must meet/demonstrate MHC CT competencies
- All non-registered new employees must pass the certification for CT within two years of hire date
- BLS certification with biannual renewal
- Must be vaccinated or have lab confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella
- Must receive a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year that they are hired and annually thereafter, or receive an approved medical or religious exemption
