Job Summary
Provides CT Imaging care covering the range of services that would be provided in a state-of-the-art civilian medical treatment facility, at a standard of care that equals or exceeds VA Standards and the TJC; adheres to ARRT Practice Guidelines and Technical Standards in radiology; promotes safe and effective use of diagnostic radiology through training, skills, and techniques; performs organ-specific and subspecialty imaging (CT Diagnostic Imaging: Abdomen, Pelvis, Neuroradiology Imaging, Cardiovascular/Extremity, Cardiac); performs related administrative tasks; supports on-call shifts and variable schedules.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Completion of a CHEA- and JCERT-accredited Technologist training program
- ARRT (CT) certification
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of one (1) year of proven clinical experience in CT Imaging in a Level 1 hospital setting
- Must have proven clinical work experience within the past 12 months
