Job Summary
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures and related activities under department standards, serving as a customer service representative to patients, families, and medical staff. Participate in quality control, performance improvement, and organizational improvement activities while acting as a clinical and technical resource to other technologists and radiologists. Collaborate with the Department Director, Lead Technologist, and Manager to meet staffing needs through flexible call schedule participation and variable shift assignments. Maintain accreditation requirements including California Radiologic Technologist certification, BLS, and RRT status, with a goal to achieve CT specialty certification within one year.
Required Qualifications
- Coursework/Training Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist school or program
- California Radiologic Technologist
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography
Desired Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in a hospital or outpatient imaging center performing pediatric and adult CT scans
