Job Summary
Under the direction of the Department Director, perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures and related activities according to department standards. Serve as a customer service representative to patients, families, the public, and the medical staff. Participate in quality control, performance improvement, and organizational improvement activities. Act as a clinical and technical resource to other technologists and radiologists. Participate in call schedules and remain flexible with job assignments and shifts to meet staffing needs. Maintain certification as a California Radiologic Technologist and National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography. Work variable shifts with a per diem schedule at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist school or program
- California Radiologic Technologist
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography
Desired Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in a hospital or outpatient imaging center performing pediatric and adult CT scans
