Job Summary
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures and related activities under the direction of the Department Director, utilizing age-specific criteria. Serve as a customer service representative to patients, families, the public, and medical staff. Participate in quality control, performance improvement, and organizational improvement activities while acting as a clinical and technical resource to other technologists and radiologists. Maintain flexibility with job assignments and shifts to meet staffing needs. This role is Per Diem with variable shifts up to 40 hours. Providence Saint John's Health Center is recognized for exceptional clinical quality and is on the Magnet journey.
Required Qualifications
- Coursework/Training Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist school or program
- California Radiologic Technologist
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography
Desired Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in a hospital or outpatient imaging center performing pediatric and adult CT scans
