Job Summary
Perform high-quality CT exams safely and accurately according to established departmental protocols, providing patient education and radiation safety checks during all imaging procedures. Maintain precise patient records across RIS and PACS platforms while collaborating on workflow improvement projects, assisting with patient transport, and troubleshooting equipment. Serve as a clinical supervisor and educator for imaging students rotating through clinical settings. Partner directly with radiologists to deliver meaningful, high-quality, patient-centered care in the Glens Falls and Adirondack community. Work 9a-5p with weekend, night, and holiday rotation available when necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of an accredited 2-year Radiologic Technology Program
- Active New York State (NYS) Radiologic Technologist License
- Active ARRT registration
- ARRT CT Certified OR Registry Eligible
- Current BLS Certification (or obtained at time of hire)
- 1+ years of general radiologic technologist experience
- Weekend, night and holiday rotation when necessary
