Job Summary
Perform computed tomography procedures and related techniques, producing sectional and three-dimensional images for interpretation by licensed practitioners. Prepare and position patients for CT scans according to the CT procedure manual while providing radiation protection to patients, staff, and self. Record patient history, unusual conditions, and exam details including time and room number. Assist with interventional procedures within the scope of practice outlined by the American Society of Radiologic Technologists. This role utilizes Siemens scanners with auto 3D software for efficiency, supports a 24/7 radiology team, and includes a split shift schedule from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited educational program in radiography, radiation therapy, or nuclear medicine technology
- Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Certification
- ARRT (CT) certification
- ARRT eligible candidates will be considered for hire with the expectation that certification will be obtained within 12 months of hire
- Ability to obtain BLS qualification during orientation period and maintain during employment
