Job Summary
Full-time CT Technologist role performing quality CT exams with appropriate technical skills and established procedures, collaborating with radiologists to deliver diagnostic CT imaging; responsibilities include pre/post care support, patient safety and education, radiation protection, documentation in the Radiology Information System, generating CT imaging and films for radiologists, supervising students during clinical training, contributing to department projects, and assisting with patient transport, equipment maintenance, and clerical tasks. New grads receive an intensive paid orientation; opportunities for cross-training, quality initiatives, and further certification; a generous sign-on bonus and tuition/licensure reimbursement are available. Shift hours include 10:30a-11:00p rotating days with weekend rotation and 6:30p-7:00a on Wed-Fri, with shift differentials up to 22% added to base pay.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program
- Current BLS Certification
- Current New York State Radiologic Technologist License
- Registered Radiologic Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
- CT certified or ARRT registry eligible. Eligible candidates must obtain certification within one year of hire
- Minimum of one year of radiologic technologist experience with CT responsibilities preferred
