Job Summary
Perform quality CT exams with the appropriate technical skills and follow established procedures; participate in all aspects of care for CT patients including pre/post care; provide exceptional patient care, safety, radiation protection, and customer service; document patient records in the Radiology Information System; generate imaging from CT workstation and present CT scans to radiologists; supervise students and contribute to department projects; assist with patient transport, clerical tasks, equipment maintenance, and room readiness; occasional supervision of radiology students and orderlies to coordinate patient flow; opportunities for on-the-job training, professional growth, and cross-training. Must have completed an accredited Radiologic Technology Program, NY license, ARRT/CT certification or eligibility, and BLS; salary range $33.08-$49.62/hour; full-time role with rotating shifts and weekend rotation; sign-on bonus and tuition/licensure reimbursement available.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program
- Current BLS Certification
- Current New York State Radiologic Technologist License
- Registered Radiologic Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
- CT certified or ARRT registry eligible. Eligible candidates must obtain certification within one year of hire
