Job Summary
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures and related activities according to department standards, serving as a customer service representative to patients, families, and medical staff. Supervise the Lead Technologist and/or Manager under the direction of the Department Director while collaborating with radiologists. Participate in quality control, performance improvement, and organizational improvement activities, acting as a clinical and technical resource to other technologists. Remain flexible with job assignments and shifts to meet staffing needs, including participation in call schedules.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist school or program
- California Radiologic Technologist
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography
- California Fire and Life Safety Card - National Organization
Desired Qualifications
- 2 years' experience in a hospital or outpatient imaging center performing pediatric and adult CT scans
