Job Summary
Under the direction of the Department Director, perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures and related activities according to department standards. Serve as a customer service representative to patients, their families, the public, and the medical staff. Participate in quality control, performance improvement, and organizational improvement activities. Act as a clinical and technical resource to other technologists and radiologists. Participate in the call schedule and remain flexible with job assignments and shifts to meet staffing needs of the department. This role supports the Magnet journey and CMS 5-star rating for quality, safe care at Providence Saint John's Health Center.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist school or program
- California Radiologic Technologist
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography
Desired Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in a hospital or outpatient imaging center performing pediatric and adult CT scans
