Job Summary
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures and related activities under the direction of the Department Director, collaborating with radiologists and serving as a customer service representative to patients and medical staff. Participate in quality control, performance improvement, and organizational improvement activities while acting as a clinical and technical resource to other technologists. Remain flexible with job assignments and shifts to meet staffing needs, including call schedules and variable per-diem hours. Requires a California Radiologic Technologist license, BLS certification, and NRT-Radiography registration upon hire, with NRT-Computed Tomography certification required within one year.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist school or program
- California Radiologic Technologist
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography
Desired Qualifications
- 2 years experience in a hospital or outpatient imaging center performing pediatric and adult CT scans
