Job Summary
Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures and related activities under the direction of the Department Director, collaborating with radiologists and supervising lead technologists or managers. Serve as a customer service representative to patients, families, and medical staff while participating in quality control, performance improvement, and organizational improvement activities. Act as a clinical and technical resource to other technologists and remain flexible with job assignments and shifts to meet department staffing needs. Complete required certifications including the California Radiologic Technologist license, BLS, and National Registered Technologist credentials within specified timelines.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist school or program
- California Radiologic Technologist
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography
Desired Qualifications
- 2 years experience in a hospital or outpatient imaging center performing pediatric and adult CT scans
