CT Technologist - Contr IV

Job Summary
Prepare patients for CT and MRI examinations by positioning them on the exam table and explaining procedures to relieve anxiety. Administer intravenous and oral contrast agents as ordered, verifying no contraindications and calculating doses based on patient weight. Operate CT/MRI equipment for abdominal, thoracic, neurological, and radiation therapy exams, then transmit cases via Tele-Radiology and archive images to PACS. This role requires a New York State licensed Radiologic Technologist with ARRT certification and IV Contrast Administration credentials. Candidates must have previous radiologic technology experience and basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program
- New York State Department of Health licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Registered Technologist (R.T.)
- ARRT registration in Computed Tomography (CT) or Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
- Certification in IV Contrast Administration
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
- Previous experience as a Radiologic Technologist
