CT Technologist

CT Technologist delivers safe, high-quality imaging and supports a positive patient experience at Columbia County Medical Center Hospital. Responsibilities include performing CT procedures per department guidelines, using technical knowledge to optimize image quality while maintaining ALARA, cleaning and disinfecting rooms, obtaining clinical history and verifying patient identifiers, explaining procedures using AIDET, ensuring patient comfort and safety, administering contrast per protocol, positioning patients, reviewing images for diagnostic acceptability, documenting results in RIS/PACS, monitoring patient condition and assisting with emergencies, and supporting daily workflows and regulatory compliance in collaboration with the imaging team. The role requires completion of a radiologic technology program, ARRT radiography and CT certifications, BLS, and at least one year of Radiology experience.
