Job Summary
Execute all diagnostic CT studies using General Electric scanners, Macintosh G3 workstations, and associated patient care equipment. Create detailed cross-sectional images of the skeleton, tissues, and internal organs while adhering to formal protocols to minimize patient radiation exposure. Deliver compassionate patient care across all age groups, acting as a liaison between patients and radiologists, and consult nursing floors regarding patient condition changes. Document in-patient charts with care notes and complete incident forms for time spent in the CT suite.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of Radiological Technology, (including course work in cross-sectional anatomy and/or demonstrated skill/knowledge in cross-sectional anatomy)
- One year of work experience in the senior level of the core job family or any combination of experience or education that would demonstrate the ability to perform the duties of the position
- Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT
- Basic Life Support - CPR
- Medical Radiographer: WA
