Job Summary
Perform CT examinations according to physicians' orders, utilizing sophisticated equipment and adjusting imaging factors to produce optimal images for individual patients. Apply knowledge and judgment regarding imaging technique and patient treatment needs while accommodating special or age-related requirements. Maintain BLS certification and hold an Oregon Medical Imaging License, with additional CT or Nuclear Medicine registry certification required within one year of hire. Work flexible full-time or part-time shifts including day and night rotations at Providence Portland Medical Center.
Required Qualifications
- Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- Oregon Medical Imaging License from Oregon State Board
- National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology
- National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography
- National Computed Tomography Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board
